Before joining New Vision, Angelo had a wide-range of experiences that put him at the nexus of communications and marketing inside Washington. In addition to serving as the head of communications for Ruder Finn, he also served as the top communications staffer for both Congresswoman Melissa Hart and former Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Bill Shuster. In addition, Angelo also served as Congressman Shuster’s campaign manager for his first re-election effort – bringing the congressman’s vote totals up by more than 20 percent in less than two years.

Angelo has also served as the Deputy Managing Editor for the National Journal’s Hotline where he oversaw the publication’s political news coverage for the 1996 and 2000 presidential cycles and has been a frequent guest on the Fox News Channel, MSNBC and many other outlets, providing communications, political, and legislative analysis. He is a graduate of McMaster University with an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
